Dried Herbs



For Thanksgiving, a dear neighbor of ours gifted us a beautiful garden pot with a variety of herbs. Although I don't particularly have a green thumb, I've managed to mostly keep the plants alive.

To keep it pruned, I've been checking the plants and plucking the limp leaves. Instead of throwing the limp leaves out, I spread the leaves on a paper towel and patted them dry. Afterwards, I spread the leaves across a wire rack to continue air drying.

You can crush the spices separately and collect the bits to use for cooking!
