White Christmas

Christmas is such a special time of the year, and not in the sense that we pass around presents, but in the way that Christmas celebrates the joy of Christ’s birth. Part of the beauty of Christmas is the change of seasons from fall to winter. The world transforms into a scene of pure white and seems to capture the mystery of the Pure One's coming to the world.

Aside from representing the purity of Christ's reign, snow is meaningful in the sense that it causes us to embrace the spirit of sharing. It forces us to come together to avoid the chill, which also allows us to enjoy each other's company and spread the love of Christ. While families are so dear to us, it's so difficult to find times to bring everyone together. Thankfully, we live in a country where Christmas is meaningful and still a large part of our lives.

Let us look to the world around us and offer thanks to our Lord for the blessings of His creation that remind us of His mercy and majesty as even the seasons glorify Him.
