Morning Thoughts

Psalm 5:3 “In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.”

There is something special about early mornings and the church (if you’ve visited a monastery you know exactly what I mean).

I’ve been told that it’s because mornings mark the dawn of a new day and they serve as a commemoration of the resurrection, which happened early in the morning.

What better way to begin each day than to cast our cares on the Lord and seek His Strength and Guidance in our everyday lives.

I pray you all embrace the morning and anticipate the hand of God in your life.
