Simple Beef Stew



Sometimes in the hustle and bustle of whipping up a meal, you forget to check your ingredients. Halfway through making some creamy chicken soup, I realized I was out of chicken! Fortunately, I I was able to save my soup by making this tasty beef stew. It took as little as 20 min to make!Hope you enjoy it!

INGREDIENTS:
  • 3 cups chicken stock
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 peeled and diced potato
  • 3 peeled and diced carrots
  • 1/4 diced onion
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic minced
  • 3 stalks of celery diced
  • 1 can beef
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano
INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Melt butter and add onion, potato, carrots and celery. After they slightly soften, add garlic.
  2. Add chicken stalk to the vegetables and let them simmer.
  3. Add beef and dried oregano.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Add the water, tomato sauce and wine. Bring to a boil for 5 min.
  6. Turn to a simmer for another 5 minutes or until the stew has soaked up most of the liquid. 
  7. Serve with a baguette.
